No Relation?
I know that sometimes when I'm on the microphone I've been known to make the assertion that "Melvis is my father", even though in true life this is not the case. But, since I go by the name Regis when I sing I thought it might be interesting to our members to see a side-by-side comparison of The Melvis and The Man, Regis Philbin.
As you can see, there really isn't much differece. The hair color is a little off, and Mel prefers those dark, mysterious glasses, but the poses are almost identical.
Also, if you analyze the personalities, it's a match. Both are outspoken...incredible singers, and ohhh do they have a way with the ladies.
Regis and Melvis: Separated at Birth? I think so.

Having had the opportunity to hear Mel's first CD, I think his style is much closer to that of William Shatner. I really think Mel and Denny Crane would be hard to tell apart. What do others think?
I think he's sexy... If I thought Regis wouldn't throw a fit, I'd make a play for Melvis... yummy! Like the real Regis, he's out of control. But boy, would I like to tame that!
