Melvis Bogged in Legal Battle

Melvis has been in and out of court doing battle (yet again) with the Elvis estate. It turns out they are trying to block him from releasing the Christmas episode because it features a rendition of "Blue Christmas" that "so totally eclipses the King's performance that it would damage Elvis' reputation irrepairably." Well, we here at the fan club have known that Mel is the real deal compared to the dethroned King for years! The word from the gossip line is that this dispute goes way back between Priscilla and Melvis. It turns out the two had dated for some time before she ever met Elvis. The juicy rumour is that after their first lovemaking, Priscilla alledgedly said to Elvis, "You may be the King, but you're no Melvis."

Rest assured that our lawyers have cleared up this old lovers quabble and we will have the go-ahead to release the Christmas episode momentarily.
